Rule 13
Cancellation of registration of aircraft
:
(1) If an aircraft registered in the name of a person or organization in the Kingdom of Nepal or operated on lease becomes unoperable, or if it is permanently sent out of the country in any way so as not to be operated in the Dominion of Nepal, or if it is sold and distributed, the owner of such aircraft or the owner of such aircraft shall operate it on lease. For canceling the registration of the aircraft, the person or the organization shall attach the registration certificate of the aircraft, disclose the necessary details in the format mentioned in the annex and manual and submit the application to the director general with the fee mentioned in schedule-1.
(2) After receiving the application as per sub-rule (1), if it is found that the Director General has made the necessary checks and submitted the outstanding invoices to the Government of Nepal and the authority, then the aircraft registration shall be canceled from the aircraft registration book subject to the applicable laws related to non-military aviation, these regulations, annexes and manuals. The registration certificate of the related aircraft should also be cancelled.
